Where is my data kept?
Workspaces, URLs, usernames, and settings remain in Chrome storage on your device. Optional Test passwords are encrypted inside the extension locally, and only ciphertext is saved. Passwords stay on this device — NoPaste never uploads them or phones home. The v1 release sends no external product analytics.
Why does NoPaste request site access?
Site access is optional and requested only when you use field fill on a site. Without it, NoPaste can still open the page but cannot inject its fill script. You can revoke access at any time in Chrome's extension settings.
Can NoPaste recover deleted local data?
No. NoPaste cannot access or recover data saved locally in your browser.
How do I remove my data?
Delete individual entries inside the extension, clear the extension's local browser data, or uninstall NoPaste from Chrome.
Is NoPaste paid?
NoPaste v1 is a free early-access release. There is no paid plan, checkout, subscription, license key, workspace limit, or site limit.
